Lundazi district is one of the old districts in Zambia which was established in 1942 as a Rural Council then later established as a District Council in 1991. It has got a total population of around 154,908 with the male population estimated to be around 75,187 while females are around 79,721 as the larger proportion (Census of Population and Housing, 2022).
